Shipping Policy

At Traashya, we are committed to delivering our authentic Jaipur Blue Pottery to your doorstep safely and on time. Because our products are fragile works of art, we take extra time and care in packaging to ensure they survive the journey across India.

1. Order Processing Time

  • Handling Time: All orders are processed and packed at our Jaipur workshop within 2–3 business days (excluding Sundays and Public Holidays).

  • Why the wait? Blue Pottery requires a specialized packaging technique to prevent breakage. We do not rush this process to ensure your item remains safe.

  • Peak Seasons: During festivals (Diwali, etc.) or sale periods, processing may take an additional 2 days.

2. Shipping Rates & Estimates

We partner with reliable courier aggregators (like Shiprocket/BlueDart/Delhivery) to offer the best reach across India.

  • Standard Shipping: ₹100 flat rate for all orders under ₹2,000.

  • Free Shipping: We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders above ₹2,000.

  • Estimated Delivery Time:

    • Metro Cities: 4–6 business days after dispatch.

    • Rest of India: 6–8 business days after dispatch.

    • Remote Areas/North East: 8–12 business days.

(Note: Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to weather, strikes, or courier operational issues which are beyond our control.)

3. Order Tracking

  • Once your order is shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email and SMS containing your tracking number and a link to track the package.

  • Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to update on the courier's website after receiving the link.

4. Packaging Standards

We use a Heavy-Duty Packaging Protocol for every order:

  • Items are wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap.

  • The wrapped item is placed in an inner box, which is then "floated" inside a larger, double-walled corrugated outer box with cushioning materials.

  • This ensures that the pottery does not touch the outer walls of the box during transit.

5. Incorrect Address & Redelivery

  • Customer Responsibility: Please ensure your shipping address and phone number are correct at checkout. We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

  • Failed Delivery Attempts: Our courier partners typically attempt delivery 3 times. If you are unavailable for all attempts, the package will be returned to our Jaipur studio.

  • Re-shipping: If a package is returned to us due to an incomplete address or unavailability, you will be required to pay a re-shipping fee to have it sent again.

6. International Shipping

  • Currently, we ship primarily within India.

  • For international inquiries, please contact us directly at traashya@gmail.com for a custom shipping quote based on weight and destination.
